>> yeah. it's a very, very good idea. people are alerted to the fact that next year, 2010, is kind of a free for all for a roth i.r.a. conversion, because for the first time, there is no income cap on those conversions. but what you have to keep in mind is that any money that you convert from a traditional i.r.a. to a roth will be taxed at your current rate of income. and because you're unemployed, your current rate of income for this year is likely to be very low. so, you're right, it could be a very good way -- very good time to take advantage and make the conversion. the one caveat -- don't pull money out of a retirement account in order to pay the taxes. only use money that you've got sitting on the sidelines. >> thank you so much, and thank you so much for your question, gretchen. thank you so much, all three of you. we're out of time. >> already? >> we'll get more questions next time you're here. and if you have questions you want to offer to the "money 911" team, go to todayshow.com. still to come this morning, who is your pick for the sexiest man alive? major question. well, "people" magazine reveals its cover guy, coming up. but first, up next, the one
